"Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" was released on Friday July 15, 2005!. The alumni web site committee bought the book at the Ottawa Lynx baseball stadium. The baseball game was between the Ottawa Lynx and the Pawtucket Red Sox (Ottawa Won!) Harry Potter entertainment was provided between innings. After the game there was a showing of the film "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" on a big screen. The book was purchased just after midnight at about 12:45 on the 16 July.
The web site committee and our family wore wearing our Gladrags wizarding robes. A lot of others were wearing costumes and robes. We handed out information cards for this web site with puzzles relevant to the wizard/muggle world.
